Born in Melbourne, Australia to parents who delighted in travel. At the age of three travelling to Bali with my mother and sister I lovingly embraced the joy of a spiritual lifestyle full of devotion, temples, sandalwood and frangipanis. I was fortunate enough to grow naturally with the support of my family. Unable to read or write at 12 years old as I was a Ruldolf Steiner student and was allowed to see the world in my own unique way, I developed a lovely ability to enjoy the unwritten world as a magnificent unfolding.

Attending my first Yoga class in Australia at the age of 19 to find the benefits astounding. I continue to discover this magnificent art of living. Travelling to India at the age of 20 I had my vedic astrology read on the bank of the River Ganges in Rishikesh. I was informed I was a Yogi, sweet and simple. My life has since been dedicated to learning and sharing these great teachings.

I studied in Australia the path of Raja Yoga with Samata Yoga Australia, receiving my initiation by Swami Durgananda and Yogini name Prema as well as teachers training certification.

Moving to New Zealand in 1993, I have since had three beautiful children and delight in growing as a human being. I then went on to study at Wellpark College of Natural Therapies for four years, gaining a Diploma of Yoga, & various  other certificates. This led me to the Waitaha people of New Zealand and Sufism, I was initiated by Halima MacEwan into the linaege of Hazrat Inayat Khan.

After some time I was called to Lalibela, Ethiopia and took baptism with the Ethiopian Orthodox Tawahedo Church. Truly we are all one!

With 27 years of yoga experience, I have a deep love of all aspects of Yoga and life and enjoy presenting these very deep and amazing teachings of yoga in a simple and practical manner. Encouraging self empowerment for you to live the life you were born to live.
